The southern riverlands are controlled by what is known as the “New Republic”. This wealthy region is a collection of old money and new. There are plenty of valuable resources in the area and a vast amount of space to grow. Where some regions have been desperately trying to survive the conditions of the environment, this region got lucky and has flourished because of it.
