THE IDES

Quietrain was from a small town in the Ides called Woodvine when the Thornravers invaded. She protected all she could and was able to get many to safety with her skills as a markmen and her stealth training in the woods. In order to save the lives of the friends and family in hiding, she negotiated a treaty with the Overlord. This required her to become a Thornraver for at least two years contractually. Though she was not happy with the commitment, she actually felt a bit of appreciation for the way the Overlord conducted his business. Though the takeover of her town was horrible, the way the Overlord compromised was actually quite reasonable. She wasn’t joining as a slave, she was actually going to be paid as well. The Overlord kept his promise and let all her friends and family travel to Airess, the largest town in southern Ides.
